A Season of Discovery

In less than 10 days I will officially be living in New York City. Saying it out loud is extremely exciting and terrifying all at once. Just six months ago I was seeking spiritual guidance, not having it all figured out but knowing I was not fulfilling my life purpose.

Now that I am officially moving the follow-up question from everyone is, “So what do you want to do once you graduate?” I have no clue. Before if you asked me that I would have an answer and a time frame but at this time in my life I’m okay with saying I don’t know.

Sometimes you have to take a step back and enjoy the beauty of discovering yourself. This is my season of discovery. Trying it. Liking it. Loving it. Winning. Failing Getting back up to try again.

The most thrilling part of my journey is that it is still being written, every day will bring on a new obstacle or opportunity.

As Holden Desalles said, “Your 20s are not by default the only time in your life that you can pick up and go, or that you can try out different careers. In the space where comfort and risk come together is a space where learning and growing are most likely to happen. If you get set in your ways and become unsatisfied but comfortable, you’ll never learn anything different unless you’re willing to put yourself in a scary position.” Let’s Go, I’m READY!!

So I have a confession, I think I’m obsessed with snakeskin print. Unfortunately, all the pieces in this outfit are not available but I did gather some snakeskin print pieces that would be cute with solid colors. Cheers!

After seeing you there for a few days, you seem to fit right into the “Big Apple”. Keep living your dream out loud.
